Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma / Degree with Automobiles background.
• Minimum experience from 3-5 years in similar jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving the customer and understanding the customer’s requirements.
  • Receiving the Insurance documents, verifying and understanding the claim.
  • Inspecting and the vehicle and taking proper inventory.
  • Open the Vehicle’s receipt notes and record any abnormalities in the body of the incoming vehicle in addition to recording any existing fixtures in the vehicle; take customer acknowledgment accordingly.
  • Note on the vehicle receipt note any inquiries required by the customer during repair or service operations.
  • Coordinate with Service inspectors and Senior Service Advisor the process of opening job cards and vehicles follow up in the Workshop.
  • Order the spare parts that are visibly damaged and assured for replacement approvals from Insurance.
  • Prepare Estimates for the repairs / Coordinate with the Estimator for the Estimate preparation.
  • Follow up with the Insurance Companies for the vehicle inspection.
  • Follow up with Surveyors / Insurance Companies for approvals.
  • Coordinate with floor for job commencement on receiving approvals from the Insurance Companies / Surveyors.
  • Preparing supplementary estimate if any for the hidden damages’ notices after dismantling.
  • Obtaining additional approvals for the Supplementary Estimate.
  • Intimating customers on every stage of the work progress of the vehicles.
  • Ensuring quality after the repairs are completed.
  • Invoice the repair order / deliver the vehicle to the customer.
  • Obtain necessary signature on the documents wherever required.
  • Maintain all necessary documents related to Insurance Company.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills. (English & Arabic)
  • Customer-focused, able to understand customer requirements and handle customers’ complaints with hospitality.
  • Basic Knowledge of the type of business in Body Shop & repair process.
  • Should have an idea about the Insurance claim process and procedures.
  • Knowledge of preparing Estimates for accident vehicles & handling Surveyors.
  • Knowledge of identifying potential areas to increase revenue in Body Shop.
  • Knowledge in promoting Body Shop business.
  • Computer Knowledge (Excel / Word / additional if any).
