Job Overview:

  • Responsible for supporting the business through financial analysis, commercial decision-making, profitability management, banking relationships, budgeting, credit risk control, and supply chain finance activities. The role serves as a key finance business partner to the Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and effective financial management across all business channels.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CIMA or CPA preferred.
  • MBA Finance would also be considered an advantage.
Experience
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in Commercial Finance, Business Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Minimum 3 years in the automotive industry, preferably with a dealership or distributor.
  • Proven experience in Banking and Retail Finance.
  • Budgeting and business performance analysis.
  • Pricing and Profitability Analysis.
  • Credit Risk Management.
  • Supply Chain and Product Planning Support.
  • Corporate/Fleet Sales Finance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • 1. Commercial Finance
  • Act as the finance business partner to the Sales and Operations teams.
  • Provide commercial and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Monitor profitability across retail, fleet and sub-dealer channels.
  • Prepare commercial reports and management dashboards for business review.
  • 2. Banking & Retail Finance
  • Liaise with banks on retail finance approvals, finance campaigns, incentive schemes & customer financing.
  • Coordinate with banks on LPOs, settlement issues and other commercial banking requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with banking partners to support business growth.
  • 3. Pricing & Profitability
  • Review and recommend pricing for retail, corporate, fleet and sub-dealer transactions.
  • Analyse margins and profitability by product, customer segment and sales channel.
  • Support management in evaluating promotional campaigns and incentive programmes.
  • Ensure pricing decisions align with the company profitability objectives.
  • 4. Budgeting & Business Performance
  • Prepare the annual operating budget in coordination with the business heads.
  • Conduct monthly Budget vs. Actual reviews, highlighting key variances & recommending corrective actions.
  • Review P&L performance, gross margins, product mix and key business KPIs.
  • Support management with periodic business performance presentations and financial analysis.
  • 5. Credit Risk
  • Review the creditworthiness of retail, fleet and sub-dealer customers.
  • Recommend credit limits and monitor customer exposure.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure timely collection of receivables and minimise credit risk.
  • 6. Supply Chain Finance
  • Work closely with Mr. Jobi and KIA OEM to support product planning and allocation.
  • Analyse demand, inventory levels and product mix to ensure the right model and specification planning.
  • Provide financial inputs for ordering decisions and inventory optimization.
  • Support supply chain planning from a commercial and profitability perspective.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of A.A. Bin Hindi internal procedures and policies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as agreed upon by the Division Manager and Job holder.
