Required Skills
- General Mechanical/Electrical skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform quality repair work in accordance with the instruction on the job card in a manner that meets up with the satisfaction of the customer: such work includes mechanical repairs, engine and transmission overhaling, in addition to electrical and AC repairs.
- Perform Quality maintenance work in accordance with the instructions on the jobcard: such work includes changing oil, oil, filters, and brake pads.
- Adhere to the work schedules and instructions provided by the workshop foreman.
- Adhere to work manuals (soft & hard copies) provided by KIA when performing repair /service.
- Assist Supervisor in trouble – shooting activities to diagnose customer reported complaints and problems.
- Inform the Supervisor of any difficulties faced during repair or service activities.
- Inform the supervisor of any further repair or service requirements that are needed to be done before delivering vehicles to the customer.
- Conduct primary quality inspection on vehicles after doing the repair /services prior returning job card to office clerk.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and training as needed.
- Inspect and maintain tools and hydraulic lifts and other testing equipment’s; the technician shall directly inform the workshop foreman of any abnormalities in the tools and machines used in the workshop.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and recommend preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, & repair recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace procedures.
- Attend outside breakdown repairs as necessary.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Assist in clearing the vehicles from the port and delivering them to stores.
- Assist in the registration and inspection of the vehicles at the traffic directorate.
- Train new technicians as instructed by the office clerk.
- Shall be knowledgeable of A.A. Bin Hindi Internal procedures and policies
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as agreed upon by the Division Manager and Job holder.
