Responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in aspects of shift management, including staffing, training, administration, and operations, ensuring standards of quality, service and execution are maintained

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in hotel Mangement or related fields is preferred.
  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years in similar jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of operations is maintained while understanding the value of consistency in food and service.
  • Focus on customers and their total dining experience; seek feedback from customers; continually search for ways to increase guest satisfaction; take immediate action to resolve customer complaints; make decisions with the customer’s best interest in mind.
  • Accurately assess strengths and development needs of employees; give timely specific feedback and helpful coaching
  • Implement training programs to leverage key talent, setting challenging performance standards and realistic goals
  • Recognize and reward effective performance fostering collaboration and promote teamwork among employees. Clarify roles, Convey a sense of urgency and drive issues to closure
  • Make decisions that enhance the outlet’s profitability while balancing the need to grow sales, control costs, and positively affect profitability
  • Support Restaurant Manager and ensure meeting of financial targets
  • Promoting teamwork, helping out coworkers in the front of house
  • Recognizing that service team is responsible for making a positive impact on the guest experience
