The Construction and Industrial Equipment Division (C&IE) is one of the fastest growing division in the A.A.Bin Hindi group. This division was started in early 1960s representing the O&K brand of earthmoving machinery through which it was able to make its mark as a reputable trading company providing strong aftermarket support for the business lines it had represented.

During the past four decades, we have been dealing with various construction equipment business lines and have been offering varied products & services to cater to our clientele in this industry segment. A brief on the prime brands that we represent is mentioned below;

During Dec 2006, the division acquired the Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) dealership for the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the first half of 2007, the division had aggressively introduced the Volvo CE brand in Bahrain and we have been successful in introducing the dominant models of Volvo CE into the critical customer segments Viz. major contractors, quarry customers and rental customers. The massive state-of-the-art Volvo CE parts and technical support facilities in Jebel Ali are a boon to both us and our valued customers. The regional support plays a vital part in reducing down time of the machines and is a huge support to our customers.

During Jan 2008, the division acquired the FG Wilson Generators dealership for the Kingdom of Bahrain. CAT owns 100% equity in FG Wilson and their prime manufacturing is in the United Kingdom. FG Wilson Engineering FZE, Jebel Ali supports the region with both stocks of Gensets, spare parts and also with their technical support for commissioning of high capacity gensets and aftermarket support. Within the first quarter 2008, the division has been able to bag breakthrough orders with Major construction and contracting companies Viz. Haji Hassan, Poullaides Construction Company, Projects Construction Company. To cater to the sudden demand for prime and standby power for projects and commercial/residential sites, we are equipping ourselves with stocks of gensets and spares to provide the best lead times to our customers.

The division is also the most sought supplier of Concrete Mixers (Hand Feed, Hopper Feed and Mini Batching Plants) and Hydraulic Frontal Tipping Dumpers. These are sourced from SILLA, Italy who have been in this business since 1946. The quality of their products & aftermarket support is second to none

We have been constantly subjecting our Sales and Aftermarket team to rigorous trainings both Computer Based and Illustrator Based and these are held both in-house and also in the principals’ offices outside Bahrain. These trainings empower our sales team to technically analyse your purchase/project requirement and in suggesting you the right product. The trainings to our service team help them to effect faster diagnostics, trouble shooting and repair- All aimed at increasing the efficiency and productivity of your operations.
